I'm halfway through!??? That is my H5P free trial. I'm still finishing my Sketch course - among other things. !!
Microlearning
Here, via ProQuest (thank you Information Management Masters for this handy knowledge), I am reading: Microlearning in the Digital Age
UX
This image is about iterative design and is a UX designer's go to graphic. Image is from a LinkedIn post - on the UX Double Diamond. Suggesting ..another diamond in the iterative process. Interesting reflections in the comments.

"I know you're going to love it, so let's dive right in!"
That's introductory tutorial speak - and it works. I do feel enthused.
Language helps us to engage.
My current Sketch tutorial is very clear and concise and interesting. It helps me along if there is a real human engagement component to it.

I have many design resources bookmarked, but have decided to explore them a little more. These icons are all from SVG REPO, a site that houses svg icons that you can download and utilise in your UI designs (free) - easy to adjust many of them if you need to. I love the colourful critters...

Earlier I was looking at redesigning my non-responsive website in Squarespace and then I remembered that Google has Google Sites. I may see how far I can push Google Sites with the aim of creating a monster, for the sake of process and learning, and then pivot to SquareSpace to maintain a 'professional skin' for my business.
This week I'm focussed on Moodle and H5p. I'll also be completing my Sketch courses
What is Sketch? Sketch is a User Interface design and editing tool (program) using vector graphics for prototyping. It may be compared to Figma and Adobe XD. Files can also be opened in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and other programs.
Dodgey documentation: I'm hoping to find time to actually sketch. I was looking at my Dropbox files earlier and found some of the raw pictures from an exhibition I had a comic in some years ago. I sold the piece (titled Changelings) and have no access to it any more. I have some documentation - a few small image files - photos.
'Recovery':Here is an example of a PhotoShop 'creative recovery' process I did. I loved the characters. Ink on paper (original), then photographed (not well), then I did the best I could with recreation in PhotoShop. I had no specific tehnique, I was working on it in a way I would work on an etching.

I was working on Moodle skills last week and this week I am refreshing my Canvas skills. Having worked either side as both student and lecturer with Canvas, I thought I'd see what Canvas offers in 2023.
For a reminder, here is a 2021 clip
Here is a great playlist on the topic of Canvas (all by Instructure, the maker of Canvas)

I haven't posted for a while. Far too busy. I'll continue to drop inspiration, tools and resources here for my ongoing Learning Design work. Also UX skills/inspiration and UI. Have a few projects up my sleeve.
